Capped Bust Letter Edge Half Dollars, 1807-1836

1807-1836 Capped Bust Letered Edge Half Dollar was design by John Reich, the capped Bust style was used on most other silver coin denominations for next 30 years. He was the first artist to consistently include the denomination on US gold and silver coins after free from the bond of servitude by a Mint official.
The Largest Silver coins of the realm at the time. Weigh 13.48 g with diameter of 32.5 mm.
